Model FAP 1.5-3-150-1.5 CA-4

The Model CA-4 fluidflo® Automatic Catalyst Addition is provided with all controls mounted at the unit where it is not feasible to locate the controls in the customer's control room. The unit is furnished with a Weight Indicator (for readout of actual Catalyst Weights, Taring and Setpoint Entry), Cycle Interval Timer, and Batch Counter. The unit is operated by electrical relays and there are no provisions for Catalyst Weight Totalizing, Alarm Monitoring, etc.

DCS interface is limited to a 4-30 ms Analog Signal supplied from the Weight Indicator representing the Actual Catalyst Net Weight. This signal may be used for Catalyst Weight Totalization, Alarm Monitoring, etc.

The operation of the model CA-4 Unit requires the entry of a Catalyst Weight Setpoint and the setting of the Catalyst Addition Time Interval (0-60 minutes) on the Batch Cycle Timer. The number of Additions is recorded on the Batch Counter.
